Can my skimmer handle vodka?

I have a vertex 180 gen 2 skimmer. I am going to start doing vodka...maybe in my 65 gallon tank. All help is appreciated thanks.

Algae problems. I think it is do to excess n and p.

From what I've experienced personally, vodka took care of nitrates but didn't necessarily help out with phosphates. This is also being seen by many who run biopellets in a reactor. You may still have to run some GFO to help rid yourself of the hair algae. . Also, many who bring their nitrates and phosphate down, start to see their chaeto disappear and wither away.

To late on the cheato. My macro has been out reformed by the hair algae. I have a lot of hair algae in my sump. I tried running a ats but have struggled greatly.

I started dosing vodka last night. .02ml is what i started with. I am going to update this with pictures of before an after with close ups of some of the corals and such. I would like to rename the thread or should i start another one?

your skimmer will be fine, i know a lady that doses and has a seaclone and it handles it
