It's a brittle star, or by old school terms, a starfish. They are harmless and will live under rocks in your tank most of the time. I have several in each of my 3 reef tanks.

How big is the central disk on yours?

I just know them as mini brittle stars but they are great to have, they eat all the junk that collects in the rocks that other cuc cant get to.

They dont seem to get much bigger than what you already see

It's also possible it could be a young version of a regular brittle star. I have a few that the central disk is 40 to 50 mm and the diameter of the stretched out legs would be about 180mm. They will eat meaty food. I have a couple that will come out when I feed and take a chunk of shrimp off a wooden skewer. They also clean up left overs off the sand.
