So After coming home from a jog, i look in my tank to see a large tan slug looking thing with like three circles coming out of some LR, as soon as i switched the light on, he crept back into the rock. probably a nuisance?

it looked to be a type of a fatter worm... hard to tell the length, maybe 3-4" but had a diameter of about 1/2" on its head, looked to be 3 dark brown/black circles, with a light khaki colored body. I know many worms are beneficial to the aquarium, just want to make sure he is!... he really was just crawling around, not going after any coral which was very close to him

no, it was thick. not flat...some of those polyclads are nice looking, but no, this lookedmore like a slug than a worm, but length of a worm

make sure none of your corals start to go missing or dying off. Just observe the other inhabitants in you tank for any negative changes, if not then it is probably harmless. You might have had it for a good while and just never noticed it before.

Good luck :)

im hoping its a cucumber, but all i saw was its head... it was rounded but thick, like the seacucumbers. and it was very close to corals, yet not even messing with it.
