Thanks for the help!!

How long have you had the fish? Is it eating, breathing normally, swimming as a clownfish should? This show up overnight or slowly develop? Any other fish with Sx? Is it being chased and scraped itself.

A clearer photo would help too.

Yeah sorry about the photo do you have any suggestion on a good camera im looking to buy a new one.

The clown fish was doing great i have had the tank up for about 2-3 months there is a blue damsel along with the clown and it seems to be fine. The clown has been chillin in the back of the tank not swimming alot :-( I have not seen him eat alot either. It showed up overnight just the other night.

Hope you can help. I try to get a better picture.

it looks like there is some white stuff hanging form the side of my clown. All he does is hide in the back of the tank under the rock and i have not seen him eat. No New fish additons. Sorry about the pictures I really thought my sony cybershot that was like 550$ was gonna take nice pictures.... NOPE I was wrong!

Can someone please help!

Thanks

The "white stuff" maybe excess mucus which could be an indicator of a number of different diseases .. but if you haven't had any recent fish additions that suggestion may be off base. Might take a moment and google lymphocyctis .. lympho (sometimes called cauliflower disease) often takes on a white cottony type appearance and is akin to warts on humans. Lympho is a viral disease .. pretty common ... and seldom lethal .. no meds will help.

No. If its lympho odds are it will cure itself.

Might try for another pic if the fish gets close to the tank wall.

I'm giving in I'm going to store right now I'm in my car as we speak going to buy a canon rebel with allll this money I THINK I have haha good pics coming soon

Try live brine shimp ... like candy to most fish especially clowns. If the fish won't eat LBS then you have big problems.

Will they eat dried brine shrimp I have lots of that? Or should I go with live? Thanks for all your help!
