Can someone ID this

Hey guys, my friend has a 20 gallon FOWLR tank and it has been up for 3 months now. It has about 15 punds of live rock and water parameters are where they should be. He also has 2 clowns, a damsel, a fire shrimp, 2 turbo snails, and few hermit crabs. He is also running a Aquaclear 50 HOB filter.
Not sure if anybody needs this info to determine whatever this thing is.
It's starting to grow almost everywhere.
So can someone ID these white wormy things and tell me if it is good or bad and if we need to get rid of it or not.

Im pretty sure there a harmless sponge.

Doesn't seem like a sponge.
They are about 1/4" to 1/2" long and they are mostly in places with not a lot of light. This started growing about 4 days ago.

I was thinking sponges also. Most of my sponges grow in low light areas. Do they retract or move when touched?
