Also did a water change today and skimmer cup splashed goo in my eye... rinsed eye for a few minutes under hose am i ganna die or go blind or am i trippin?

Red bubble algae. Need to take rock out and remove them without popping them. If you pop them, then you will need to rinse the rock really good with saltwater. They can spread when pop and create havoc. Skimmer skims nutrients in water. Should be fine, just keep an eye on it. No pun intended.

Looks like gametophyte phase of green hair algae Derbesia. Get rid of it.
