I retract my first guess, they look like hairy mushrooms.

No problem, and good luck! A tip for being a new coral keeper, just like everything else in this hobby, take it slow and plan out what you would like to look at and the space they occupy. Hairy mushrooms can spread prolifically so you may want to keep some rubble around the area you'd like them to stay so once they start to spread you can easily remove them for trading or selling.
