Can 2 diferents cardinals breed!?!?!?! I mean cuz my bangaii cardinal & my pijama cardina ar doing the breeding dance like a named jiji and they are like flirting!!! can they really breed!?!?!?! Pleaseee help i really want t o know!

Fish hybrids do happen, cardinals are mouth brooders not pelagic spawners though so that might make it harder for a hybrid but i wouldnt say it is impossible

im think if happends how they are gonna look like?? black and white whit red dos or have bangaii and have pijama?? jajajaj i hope the breed cuz i wanna know what comes out! jeje

Are you sure it is really courtship, and not aggressive behavior?

If they do actually breed, I doubt the eggs will be fertile. After all, they are in a different genus from each other, and banggai larvae do not have a pelagic stage while the pajama cardinals do.

i think is courtship cuz tehy dont behave aggressively with each other and som friends haved told me taht that can happend...............idk
