Can this return work

Is it possible to plumb a return like this? Have the reactor plumbed back into the return pipe

I really don't think it would work. Once the water pressure is done exiting the reactors and meets back with the same line, it seems to me like it will just equalize and leave the reactors sitting there with no flow going threw... With my reactor, I just ran a dark vinyl 1/2" hose back to my display via 2 90 degree elbows that make it land and hold itself in the display tank at the rim.

I would just have my return line from the reactors empty back into the sump or display. i have my calcium reactor plumbed in like that...works fantastic.
