Can Turbo snails get killed by an anemone?

I have had two turbo snails climb a rock and get right up to my anemone. My wife says it got stung. The both stopped moving or were very lethargic and have now died. I have a third turbo snail which did not get near the anemone and he is fine.

I would imagine it’s possible but I personally haven’t heard of that

Technically yes but practically, never heard before that either. If one of these turbo snails ends up touching the tentacles of certain anemones, it could get stung and might not make it.

The sting from these cells can be really dangerous, even deadly for smaller critters like snails.
