Can U starve Pyram. snails?

I wanted to know if I removed my two clams and all my snails...scrubbed my clams, let a friend keep them for me. Has anyone done this? Or can the pyrams live without the clams and snails?

not really sure what you mean with your method? Some snails are embedded within the clam and pobably need more than just scrubbing to get rid of them.

Will all the other snails starve in my aquarium, without any hosts?
