can we id this?

i used to think it was a polyp (the one on the right....)
it had a diameter of 1/4" ... after 4 months its diameter is 1,5"
it does have a stem but it doesn't grow
it eats anything that i feed it, and closes like a pouch when it feeds...
if it is not a mushroom...what is it?

(the one on the left i know is a mushroom... though I can't find a classification for it either)

You dont have to do anything it will eventually bud and form more polyps. What type of lighting do you have?

I am no lighting guru but you might need more watts to really spread. Do you have other corals?

I had a paly hitchhiker in my 55g w54 watts for a few years. It survived but never multiplied till I increased my lighting to 216 watts.

i have actinodiscus and yuma mushrums that grow and multiply
xenia that multiplys like crazy
polyps that multiply at different speeds
an euphylia that latelty has stopped growing
star polyps that do not multiply at all
sinularia that grows slowly
Chelonaplysilla "erecta'' that both grows and multiplies
and this guy that grows triple size in 9 months but does has not multiplied yet

(yesterday i found out that i have the snail stomatella multiplying like crazy )
