I have a 10 foot 30" wide tank that I am going to do a external wave box on with a center overflow to minimize issues with the wave and overflow. Is there somewhere that you can purchase just the wavebox pump. Or what is the closest stock tunze pump? I believe the wavebox uses some sort of hybrid version of one of the stream pumps if I am correct. I want to run 2 of them with the 7092 Tunze Wavecontroller
Roger??..anyone

Also would it be better to run 2 of them synced on one end of the tank or anti sync with one on each end?

You can, it is part 6215.200 (complete pump) but it does not include a power supply or controller, so you need 6105.240 and 7092 and then you are getting very close to the cost of a wavebox. For a long tank, one on each end in anti sync will generally work best. One thing I have learned about built in waveboxes, be sure to support the pump, if the pump is only held by the front housing, you end up wearing out the mounts for the front housing and having to replace them every few years.

6155, but it is honestly more expensive due to the magnet holder and more robust power supply since it is meant to run all the time and not quickly cycle on and off. From parts, 2 pumps, 2 power supplies and a 7092 totals $853.17. The next generation wavebox 6214 will cost $446.25, the current one is $524.96. Most of the price drop is that in the next gen the controller will be integrated with the pump, no more separate 7092.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe I should wait for the new 6214 then. I assume if you have more than 1 they will 'talk" wirelessly with each other then? How soon are they due out.
