Can You Combine Hyposalinity and Cupramine / Prazi?

Hi All,

I have combined cupramine and prazi before without any issues in the past at normal salinity or at least higher salinity (1.017 or higher).

Can you use either of these medication at hyposalinity - 1.009?

NO. Hyposalinity (lower than 1.013) should NEVER be combined with copper treatments

According to Seachem (posts no longer available) it could be used in Hypo as it did not affect pH or affected by salinity. Thing to always watch out for in hypo is pH.

That is correct according to Seachem it is OK to use the Cupramine with hypo. You just need to lower the dosage amount. I would call Sechem to clarify on Monday.
