can you control a switch based on 1-10v status?

Question: is it possible to control a switch hooked up to a fan based on the value of the 1-10v output.

Real world example:

1) when my illumination channel 1 is <10%
2) i want switch 1 off (outlet that controls a fan)

alternately
1) when illumination channel 1 is >= 10%
2) switch 2 ON

short answer is yes...

but you would need a ADin card and connect one of the digital switch to the selected line.

you could also role your own, look at ttl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transistor–transistor_logic)
