Can you direct flow with just the nozzles?

Many people who have a problem with their Streams and sand mention that they put their units toward the bottom of the tank and pointing up...but I can't find anything that says the nozzles of the streams are moveable.

Can they be moved (looking at a 6060) and directed...or does the entire unit need to be propped up or directed?

The nozzles cannot be directed so you have to swivel the pump or prop it up. The included mountng system only allows side to side motion so up and down angles are a DIY project. The Stream rock provides a slight upward angle.
