First I need help posting the pic. I have one, but it is too large in memory. How can I change that, or will someone let me email them the pic to post it for me?

I cannot tell if this is a Chrysopterous juvi or an Akindynos?

That is what I was thinking as well.
It is not uncommon for white tailed chrysopterus to become very washed out. The black ventral or pelvic fins would rule out akindynos in my book.

"Juveniles are a dull orange."

imo, it's a juvi chrysopterus...
