can you ID this red macroalgae?

I have some of that too. I've asked around and looked on quite a few web sites and I can't find an ID for it. I'd be interested to know if anyone can ID it.

I dont think its Scinaia or Dictyota. Looks hard to the touch, calcified. Is it, Gary? I know I've seen it before in my books. I'll have a look.

I would guess Amphiroa but thats not quite right. Perhaps a Galaxaura is closer? Even if its not these, its close to these genus in morphology.

Its really very pretty. At least I think so.

I was thinking Galaxaura. It's stiff- not really brittle to the touch.
I agree it's beautiful.

It looks like codium except red...I actually think I saw some red codium for sale once but may have been mislabeled.
