Can you identify this?

(I'm not sure if this is under the correct category, but) What is this? I was moving my live rock, and I noticed this thing, it kinda startled me (because I have't bought any fish, inverts, etc yet - just live rock and live sand) so I dropped the rock and it fell off. It's probably 3/4 an inch long. The left end looks like the base, and the right end looks like the mouth with little tentacles. Is it a little anemone, or something worse? Keep or get rid of?

It looks like a very unhappy anemone. You can try and nurse it back to health by offering it some thawed PE Mysis.

It has attached itself to a rock again and opened up. Is there anything else I can offer it that I might already have in my house? I haven't bought any fish food because like I said I haven't bought any fish yet. Thanks.

You could try a small piece of raw table shrimp if you have any.
