Can you Keep a Blonde and Regular Naso

I would assume they are just as "compatible" as two blondes or two regular (which is not very). Many people consider these just color variations of the same species Naso lituratus. Others consider the blonde naso to be a separate species, Naso elegans. But regardless, I would not put two together in the same tank unless it was really big. (I am guessing a 400 gallon could hold two nasos.

I kept a mis matched pair together for many years in a 300g Fish Only tank. Even once they had grown their barbs back out there weren't any issues. I had had a pair of regular Nasos for about 2 years and lost the smaller female. So I replaced with a blonde, and they swam together without issue.

in general, the Naso genus tends to be pretty mellow. I have seen Naso's with valmingi, two naso's, unicorns and naso's...in an 8 foot tank they should be ok.
