Can you safely keep an open brain sps?

I thought that open brains were safe with ponies, but the guy at the lfs says no. Anyone with experience in this area. My are already more than 4 inches long, so they are not small!

I agree with your LFS....any coral with sweeper tentacles are not safe with seahorses.

Which species of brain are you looking at? IMO some brains are safer then others. IMO they are doable, depending on species and tank setup.
