Can you ever see ich on rock or glass ... I notice these little hard white spots on a artificial coral piece in my quarantine tank while doing a water change. . The in quarantine show no signs of it. All I read says it could only be seen when on fish. .. is that true.?

no you cant see them anywhere else without a microscope, they are microscopic. the white spots may be snail eggs? have any pictures?

No at work. ... I battled ich twice in my display tank and had to go fallow now I set up quarantine tank. I'll take some pics when I get home tonight. .. m like I said earlier no signs of ich on fish. Right now I am quarantining two clown fish and two lyre tail Anthias

Are they spiral? Then fan worms, either way, definitely not ich. If you've had LR in the tank, It could be a wide range of inverts.

And, you can not necessarily see ich on the fish. That is a common misconception.

They are not moving or anything they almost look like crustations ... Thank god it's not ich though don't think I could handle another outbreak. .
