This is the one that looks about the same. A Bartlett's Anthias, U think thats right?

Yep & they usually don't live very long in capivity.

FFS, My usually good local fish guy told me this is an easy fish to keep, needs feeding on meaty food twice a day. I told him I have a 50g tank. This need twice, three times more room than that, and need perfect water. Thanks for all the info though!

It isn't necessarily the purple anthias--this one is Pseudanthias tuka, not P. pascalus.

A male then? Keeping these fish alive long term takes more than perfect water and feeding 3 times a day.

If you've already bought him, good luck. If you are successful, please post your experience - there isn't much info out there on these.

Thanks, 2 days now and they look happy. All water reading are normal, feeding 4 times a day on praws, crabs, brine, krill. I'll keep you posted, I really hope they are ok, there are amazing fish to have!
