can zoa over run acans?

I have some acans on a frag that came with some bland offwhite zoa's and are now touching eachother. i could care less about the zoas but with thy somehow inhibit the acans?

My guess would be the acans will eat them.

+1. IMHO, there might be a short time where the zoanthids might physically irritate the acan where they touch, but I'd bet money the acan would eventually respond with some nasty stings and possibly messentary filaments. I assume we're talking about an Acan lord? Acan echinata would find and kill anything within reach on its own even without being touched.

You might run into the Zoas releasing toxins and killing the acans.
