Can zoos be dipped?

For some reason I read somewhere the zoo's can't/shouldn't be dipped in iodine. If that is the case, how do you get rid of unwanted pests (especially in the wild stock) in addition to QT the zoas?

freshwater....matched to tank parameters..(alk, PH)

i have left mine sitting in FW for hours (forgot about a couple frags) and they still seem to open...

FW wont kill egg sacs of nudies though...but any invert will come flying out...

zoa spiders, sundials, and nudi's eggs will have to be manually removed with tweezers...

how do you get freshwater to match PH of tank? Freshwater is close to 7 on the ph scale and my tank is running near 8.2.

There are some additives increase the pH to 8.3 and raises Alk as well. I do believe there are some zoos that don't like getting dipped or furan'd on. Like my RPE's, Grandis's all melted from dipping or some with furan as well. Don't use this as a scale but from my own experience.
