Canadaguy 180 Tank Build with Radions!!

outstanding job on the overflows, i love the idea of siliconing that piece of glass to the plastic trim of the sump.. will be doing the same after seeing it done now.

are there going to be socks? how are you mounting them, cant wait for more updates

That glass idea is brilliant!! I love it! I am so doing this on my sump now. Such a simple design plan to implement.

Thanks! I am not sure how long the glass is going to adhere to the plastic trim but if it doesn't I will cut out trim on the end and reattach it to actual glass. For now I don't plan on using filter socks and will do water changes from my sump.

Like I said above I have a feeling the glass might not adhere too well to the plastic trim so I maybe cutting out plastic trim. Or I could just support the hoses too as there is weight to them and then glass support on plastic trim would be fine without lifting.

Eggrate was placed on bottom and Tropic Eden Reef Flakes were added with water used from water changes along with some freshly mixed water. Also added base rock and some live rock out of my 120g along with a heater and a couple of power heads.

Changeover from my 120g is now complete. I got the RO and salt mixing tank moved into their new location and all plumbed to the sump. Still have to rearrange rockwork and corals in the tank as when I did the changeover I basically just threw everything in. Also need to get all my reactors all hooked up this weekend too. I will wait a month or so then start buying and filling it up with coral. I need to buy a decent camera one day also!
