Thank you for your post. We do have one Canary Deepwater Damsel available on our Divers Den website at this time. Unfortunately we are unsure when there will be any additional ones added.

Unfortunately at this time we do not offer a quantity discount for this specimen, however we would recommend signing up for our email specials and promotions which will at times may give you discounts on your purchases.

Thank you for the quick reply. I did see that one and I will probably get him if he's still available when I place my next order. There are a few other fish that I'm waiting on as well that are usually in stock but just ran out, a medium Powder Blue Tang and Hippo Tang. I had the PB in my cart when they were on sale and then they ran out before I ordered so I'm waiting now.

Well I see they're in stock now but I can't believe how much more they cost now. Why did the price go up so much? I wanted to get a trio but at $60 each I just can't see spending $180 on three Damsels, as much as I like them.

Was this a particularly expensive batch or is this the price from now on?

Thank you for your post. The price of the specimens we offer depends on a variety of factors including their rarity, location of collection, and the transport price to get the specimen to us. All items in our Diver’s Den have these factors taken into account when they are priced and added to our web site.

I wasn't referring to the Diver's Den. They're listed under Damsels and in Collector's Corner.

Did you actually have a trio in the Divers Den? I didn't see any there.

Thank you for your patience while we contacted our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility regarding the price of the Canary Deep Water Damselfish. These fish are collected in the Cook Islands at depths of 125’ to 175’. It is extremely dangerous for diver’s collecting this species. Due to this fact the price of this fish increased. We apologize for any inconvenience.
