Cancun snorkeling good?

We are planning a trip to Cancun in January 2009. Anyone been snorkeling in Cancun? Can you recommend somewhere to go or who to book the snorkeling with? Thanks!

Not much in Cancun, take a day trip to Cozumel and book with Pelican Tours. Great for Novice and experienced drifting on Chankanaab Reef. You could also do Xel Ha, protected and shallow.

Snorkled around Mayan Riviera near Iberostar (Dressel Divers) in January...wasn't very exciting. Maybe the dive shop didn't have very good sites tho. Diving in Cozumel was better.
