candy cane feeding habits

I just brought home a small frag and it was filter feeding with its sweeper tenticles in one hour. I thought they fed at night time. Is it normal for them to filter feed this quickly after being acclimated. I guess it is happy in its new home.

Sounds happy and healthy. Try spot feeding it with some mysis.

It might also be a defensive reaction to its new environment.

shriveled up, can see skeloton exposed where the polyps should be fleshy.

i have the same exact thing happening the tentacles came out immediatly after being placed and has been slowly shriveling since moved it closer to the light and it hasnt opened any more or receeded though I will try feeding with mysis tommorrow any other suggestions?
