Candy cane help

Any advice on what could be going on with mu cany canes, they look like
they are withering away. Approx 10 heads all look the same, they have been great, fully opening, they have spread from 2 heads to 10, water is fine I have shrooms, xenia and a sebae anem. that are doing great. The only thing different that has happened lately is a small perc clown is starting to take to them. Any insight?

If I'm reading this right, your clown is starting to host in them? I would think that is whats going on. The clown keeps them from opening all the way and is slowing killing them...
