Candy Cane spacing

Is there an issue with having different candy canes close to one another? Here's a picture of mine - I wonder if they're too close together?

Any thoughts?

I would think that corals of the same species would be alright in proximity of each other.

Can be mingled to produce very attractive displays.

It may not produce as many heads since there maybe less room for expansion, or some heads may die due to lack of lighting. I actually have several colors close together,sort of a mixed flower garden approach.

I wouldn't see what the problem would be. Just watch for sweeper tentacles.
