Last time I heard about a candy basslet for sale it was $600 for one. $750 for pairs now? Nice!

they command a high price..i have seen a couple around and that was about what i saw them at maybe a little more..i would love to have one but with as much rock work as i have i would not see him much...would hate to pay all that money and just see them every now then would suck..but one of the best looking fish out there imo

I just saw 2 for sale last week from a collector here in FL, $200 ea. I ordered one for a trade I'm making and I was told it would only be around $100 we'll see what the landed cost is, but I don't expect to pay more then the $200 the others cost.

An LFS near me had them for $750/pair.
The prices that philter is talking about sounds about right.

Maybe it's a florida thing? Swissguards and sulawesi (sp?) go for over $100 at LFS here....I can't imagine a candy going for $200 here.....

they are collected in the bahamas, and are pretty deep. collectors generally dont sell to hobbyist, and if they do, they will most likely raise the price on them.

in florida they will be 750$ for a PR. in any other setting probably in the 1200$ range for a PR - which is actually a good price.

Hides a lot, even though it has a tank all to itself. Got it a couple years ago from a vendor I know in Florida. $600.00.
