Canon G11 Advice pls?

I just bought a Canon G11 with Digital wide converter w/ macro 0.5x 58mm I'm not sure how to use it properly, heres some pictures i took using G11. Please feel free to comment.. Thanks alot! Happy New year!! :beer:

Well i don't really know a lot about photography. I bought the kit so I could get some good macro shots of my corals. The kit came in 4 parts, 2 adapter tubes, a small macro lens and a large wide angle lens.

I have tried various combinations but can't seem to get any good shots. Should I use the macro and wide angle lens together or the macro on its own? I cant seem to focus with the macro alone. Should I use one extender tube or both together?
