More like
Canon = Solaris
Nikon = HP-UX
Two different flavors of the same thing...

HP-UX is still alive and kicking. We run it on our build clusters at work.
Not to argue with the omnipotent Unix overlord, but HP-UX is simply HP's prorietary implementation of Unix.

Im a professional photographer and ive used Mac and windows machines for photoshop. Mac wins hands down! Whats even more funny, is on the new mac book pros, you can run a program called Boot camp, which lets you boot your mac from either OS X or Windows XP. Consumer Reports did a study and found that Windows XP actually runs more stable on the Mac Book Pro!! Its superior equipment.
Nikon Nikkor lenses are just as good

Ummm lets see...You buy a Cheaply made PC and a year later...the thing
is super slow and works like crap. You buy a Mac and 3 years later it works
as good as it did the day you bought it..

Which is only as fast as the super slowed down PC.
Sorry, couldn't resist. Being a former netadmin with 6,000 Macs on my network, I can't stand Macs.
