Canon XTi flower shots

Here are some flower shots I took this morning after a light rain. Its an Iris.

And a couple coral shots.

This one was a creation I copied from another person. I glued a frag of red cap coral on a plug with some green cap coral. So far its looking pretty good.

Oh yeah, the lense is a Canon 100mm macro.

Some of the flowers look like they had a black background but after looking at it again I can see it was just how the picure came.

I think the background looks darker depending on the DOF. I just keep playing with the different settings trying to get better. Thanks for the nice comments also.
