Canopy Paint

I want to use paint on my canopy. What should i use? Some sort of epoxy maybe?

The inside of the canopy or outside? Any type of paint should be fine for either as long as you give it aple time to dry before placing it back on the tank.

Stain, I've seen some tanks and canopies being built and they were stained nicely. Check out the DIY forums. Better yet check this out, you can also see a can of the stain on the side:

I just painted mine last week.....I used 2 coats of Kilz, and 2 coats of behr indoor/outdoor paint.

It seems pretty thick, and should keep water out. I painted the inside of my stand with it too.
