Cant believe I'm doing this again...

Well as some of you know I had to "sidetrack" the hobby a few months ago due to a promotion. Well as of the last month or so I changed jobs all together. Which means I will have a lot more free time available. ( Yeah for weekends off again!) So I will be setting up the original 225 finally. I did sell some of the equipment but most of it remains. However this time I will be remodeling the basement as well. I figure if I'm going to do it I may as well do it right. The tank will be in-wall with 2 sides viewable and have its own "tank room" behind it. The basement deconstruction starts this weekend, and I will be sure to post some pics.

I started a thread to decide how the layout should go, the options were.

I decided on #2, mainly because wife wants a "wet bar" beside the tank. Im good with that.

No I did not plan on it. Hopefully I will be able to reach everything from the rear.

Only reason I bring this up is that I did the same thing on a 1800 years ago. It is VERY hard to get access to the front and viewable end pane without front access. I personally would recommend going with a front access panel...of course this is just my 2 cents.

Hmm... thanks for the heads up. I will look at it again, a lot will depend on how my rear access idea works. Thanks
