Can't decide on a powerhead

two tunze 6045 or controllable Koralia 3's for a 30 gallon. what are the thoughts on which is better for a mixed reef. thanks

2 tunze 6045's will probably be too much flow in a 30 gallon. i use 2 6025's on my 40 and it is plenty of flow for sps. they cause quite the sand storm in my tank if they arent positioned right. I'm all about tunze, but the koralia's may be better. If you are going bare bottom the 6045's may work. I like tunze products and think the powerheads look a little better than the koralias. What are the tank dimensions?

standard 36" long 30 gallon. website said they are rated 26 to 53 gallon tank or somewhere around there. I have an orange spotted goby and tiger pistol shrimp combo so I'm not sure I can go bare bottom. I have ordered both from sellers here and figure I would resell which I don't like. tunze is supposed to arrive tomorrow. does anyone know if you need a controller for the k3's?

2 6025's might work and it would be pretty cheap. I like the controller idea better. If youre going to spend that kind of money you might consider 1 vortech mp40 or mp20. I have not used them but have heard very good things. maybe someone else will chime in.

I debated an mp10 for $200 but couldn't decide if it was large enough and didn't have enough for the mp20, but considering how much I've got in now and still have to sell the m620 seios I have I might have enough. I'll trial the one 6045 I'm getting tomorrow and probably make my decision.
