Can't decide

Love both although the flame may nip at corals and the mystery can eventually develop a taste for shrimp. It just depends what you want to deal with. I have no experience (yet) with either but I hear Mystery's can be pretty aggressive. I have had a few Pygmy angels and have had good luck with Cherubs. If I had to choose I'd probably go Mystery although you could do both if you have a decent size tank.

I already have a melanarus and a red head solon wrasse. I don't have any dwarf angelfish. My melanarus already ate all my shrimp, so no worries there.

I have a 90 gallon.

My mystery is afraid of my Rhomboid... I really love the coloring of my Mystery. He cleaned out the shrimp that I had rather efficiently

As mystery wrasses get older they develop a strong dislike towards new fish being added, particularly other wrasses.

Had a flame angel in my 90 gallon. He became the most aggressive fish in the tank. The reason he is no longer in teh tank is he went carpet surfing. Since then the other fish are out more and seem a lot more relaxed. Am not getting another for that reason alone.

Whereas I miles prefer the wrasse I think for harmony sake the angel is normally the best option. They also have that wow factor from afar while the wrasse is imo more stunning but needs closer attention to find it.
