My LFS is a good guy and keeps the best equipment and livestock. He usually gives me great advice and does what is best for the fish. A few days ago I went in and his partner was working. I was looking for a goby and he sold me a twin spot goby or two spot goby.

Its been days now in my quarantine tank and I cannot get him to eat. Any advice? He said these fish are intermediate care level but after reading RC post they are ultra expert.

Take some sand from ur dt

They live by sifting sand for detritus. You must provide him old sand with debris in it. Go to the lfs and ask for a bag of their display tank sand for your qt, and try to keep it piled. It's an added risk of infestation, but keeping him apart from your tank until you're sure he's clean is a good idea, and just wait it out.

i have a twin spot in my tank and basically just took it from the the lfs and dropped it straight in. 30 days of qt would not be a good thing and will likely cause these guys to perish.
