Can't keep stylos or birdsnests

Every time I put a stylo or birdsnest in my tank within 2 or 3 weeks they die. Really not STn either, while blowing rocks off with a turkey baster if I blow around the coral their skin blows off. I have acros that are doing fine. Parameters are:
Cal 410
Alk 8.4
Mag 1500
Po4 0 (can't get a reading higher for some time now) hanna
No3 1-2
I did battle this brown slime algae, not sure if it's dinos or not and there is still small amount on my rocks.
I'm wondering if I have too much flow?
Starving from lack of po4?
I'm running a cal reactor which is dialed in nice right now. Any help is appreciated, I never had trouble with these corals in my old tanks. Tank is 5-6 months old now and some rock was transferred from my old tanks.
Thanks

My stylophoras likes intense light, good water movement and alk higher than 8. When it drops below 8, i see less coloration, but still good growth.
Stylophora really dislikes direct currents. It will shrink the polyps and allow algae to grow on the colony very fast. Stylophora is imo a very easy coral to keep, alot easier than most acroporas.

Funny they never lost pe just had the flesh blow off with the turkey baster. I'm starting to think I have too much flow

Im no expert by any means but a fellow in my local reef club said his SPS didnt fair well with 0 phosphates so he had to tweak his system to get them at .02 and from then on everything was fine. Same with Nitrates. When those two hit zero things started dying

You are not starving them of PO4 unless you are dosing organic carbon. A regular tank, or even one with GFO, will not get to zero.

My stylos are both in the bottom 1/3 of a 2' tank and are doing very well now. High flow in tank but all indirect flow at the bottom. IMO they do not need high light. Good luck.
