Can't seem to keep new fish

So 2 days ago I go and get a yellow watchman goby. He does well enough and I come home tonight and hes dead. A snail was making a snack of him. Now just 2 weeks ago I had a sixline that I bought die in about 2 days as well. In my 29 gallon tank i have zoas, shrooms, xenia, and a hammer coral with 2 clowns and a algae blenny. I would think if I could keep corals I should be able to carry "easy" type fish. Water checks out well too with no problems. I got a bak pak skimming and a ac500 fuge. What the hell could be going on?

Sixline wrasse's are not "easy" fish. I would put them on the difficult list, just my opinion. YWG on the other should be pretty sturdy. I think its just bad luck but maybe its the store you are getting your livestock?

Could be an acclimation problem---you may want to check bag water against yours--or acclimate very, very slowly. But it happens to everybody--buy a fish--dead in a couple of days. Better luck next time.

I agree sounds like an acclimation problem to me as well. Try doing it slower than you have been doing it.

Perhaps I have been a bit hasty. I will attempt to acclimate them over a longer period. Thank you
