Capnella Sp. leather budding off

My Kenya Tree Leather (Capnella Sp.) is budding off again, like crazy.

My water conditions are good and growth on the budded pieces is respectable.

Is there any way to *prevent* this from happening?

Good luck with that... Those things spread like wildfire... I have had them plague me in my last two tanks, and let's just say, they WON'T be making it into my new tank. The only thing I can do to slow down the spread is watch for the arms to sort of "bloat" and "pinch off" where they drop from... If you can catch them in time you can just reach in and pluck them off before they are sent floating to their new destination.
