Captain K's Mini Reef

After several years out of the hobby due to a tank crash that crushed both mine and my wife's spirits we've finally got the courage to give it another go. After many debates back and forth around trying to reset up the old 80 gallon or try something new we decided to eventually downsize to 90x45x45 aqua one mini reef 160. For those that aren't familiar with the brand they provide a plug and play system but I have made a few changes. The plan is for a mixed reef screwed towards LPS dominant, I'm starting to understand and like SPS a lot but
The wife loves the flowy Euphyllias so I'm sure you can all guess what stock the stocking of corals will look like.

Information and some start up pics below

Flow: Gyre 230
Lighting: Aqua one MariGlo (this is piece to be upgraded)
Skimmer: RLSS 6

Very slick looking. What are your thoughts on the skimmer so far?

How much sand and rock are you using in the tank.

Was thinking of 9kg of CaribSea west Caribbean and 20kg of CaribSea life rock for the same tank.
