I have 10 babies that are just over 2 months old. The bodies are about the size of dimes. I am leaving for a week on 9/1 and would love to get them into new homes before that. If you are interested in 1 or more please let me know. They have been eating only frozen food for about 2-1/2 weeks (mysis and cyclopeeze). Great little eaters and very cute. Nine of the bangaais are in perfect condition and one lost its tail when it was tiny. The tail is growing back, but it will never be perfect. It will most likely be crooked. $20 each or $15 each for 3 or more. The tail-less baby for $10.

Oh yeah, I got the captive bred parents from Inland Aquatics over a year ago, so these little ones are at least 2nd generation captive bred.

****You should only buy captive bred Bangaai's as the population in the wild will be depleted soon if they keep harvesting them.****

if i can get him at the meeting i will take the tail-less one, i have a 12 gallon w/my 2 seahorses, a nickle sized pj cardinal and a yellow watchman goby. the calm tank mates and calm current should suit the guy well untill his tail grows back when he then would be added to my 23 gallon.

i'll dub him Sir. Stumpy.

is that the one in the thrid photo?

The pair of bangaii I got from Kim last month are doing really great. They've started eating flakes and frozen brine shrimp now.

Wow, you got them eating flakes? I have never been able to get mine to eat flakes.

Lilly - I was planning on keeping "sir stumpy" to breed. But, if you are interested I could let you have him(her). Yes, it is the one in the 3rd photo. It is still doing really well. It looks like the tail has fused and will point downward.

i'll ask my sister if she wants him, she has wanted one of these kind of fish but i am not sure if she would want one with a deforemed tail (she will either LOVE him or say no way! she's unpredictable on that matter) :)

i'll let you know

(i do know i cannot afford $20 for one at the moment....)
