"Captured Motion" picture thread

Okay, I'll get this started, with something - Wifey's first time up on skis in a decade:

If I recall correctly, this was taken on the beach at Jekyll Island, GA.

How bout this for a new project?.... ICE

I should sure as heck be able to enter a pic in this one!

Too bad the Ice Art festival isn't for a few months. That would have provided some crazy opportunities!

Maybe we should have two entries for each "theme"? As originally intended a weekly shot to inspire people to shoot. Though mabe adding an "archive" image for those of us pressed for time, motivation, or subjects? The contest would remain based on the recent entries with the second place being one from the current selection, or the archived images. First place winner (and the one with a recent image) still gets to choose the next topic. Might be a nice way to see more of each others work if we posted archived entries).

and this one seems most appropriate for a fish based forum :).

Well since this is Reef central maybe something more "salt water" themed.

Hahaha, I live in FLORIDA..........so my pic will have some sorta bucket involved.

I mulled over this idea and thought it would be a good diverse subject. Everyone can make ice. Ice makes some interesting light refraction, is pretty in nature and looks nice in a well composed libation ;)

As a judge, I love a beautiful image, but Im a sucker for effort ;)

LOL, Siamese twins joined at birth??

Great pic.

Hah! Just saw this. You have no idea!!! They go absolutely berserk when they are separated. If I have to take one to the vet or whatever. The other one howls nonstop til I bring him back. They will be 11 this spring and Ive had them since they could fit in a shoe.
