carbon and phosban in canister filter?

Just like the title people. Do you, should you use both carbon and phosban in a canister filter? Or should I get a phosban reactor?

If you are using carbon you should use them both separately.
Here are my reasons why.
Carbon becomes depleted much more quickly than the Fe PO4 removers and then can leech back out.
Where as the Fe media will no longer bind but will not leech.

Since the two will be changed on such dramatically different intervals, keeping them together is not the best chooice.

yea, i would keep them in seperate bags in the canister filter. I just thought since I am running the canister filter allready I would throw in some carbon and some phosphate remover. I know that a phosban reactor chamber only runs about 80 to 100 gph. My canister filter will be running higher than that. I was wondering if the phosban needs to have low flow?
