Carbon in a filter

I'm looking for suggestions for running carbon in an external canister filter, i.e. good brand without costing too much. I just want to run carbon, no other filtration for 90G. Nothing fancy, just carbon

I don't have a sump and want to minimize putting stuff in tank. I also have personal hatred of HOB.

I will say the ease of maintenance on a hob, like aquaclear, is very easy. Just drop it in and go. A lot of people however use canister filters for carbon. Just make sure you clean the darn thing out regularly so detritus doesn't build up in there. A large factor of high No3.
