Carbon: When to change?

I am just trying to see how often other reefers change out their activated carbon. My current protocol is every two weeks.

in my searching i saw 3-4 weeks aka once a month was the general response

Once a month was fine for me. More frequent changes might be necessary if the tank has a lot of corals releasing allelopathic chemicals, or some other issue.

Supposedly my Elite Chemipure is to be changed every 3-6 months or so, but I find that 4-6 weeks is noticeably better for my livestock.

2 to 3 weeks. Sometimes a month, depends on how the tank is looking.

I have a small media bag and a large media bag of carbon in my sump. The small one I change every week to two weeks and the large one I change every three weeks to four weeks.

2-3 weeks, once a month....how much carbon do you guys use per gallon of water (or per 25 gallons)?

I guess depending on how much you use per gallon deciphers when you change it?
