I had a great time at TPC this afternoon. And I learned enough about Kalk and Calcium to know I dont want to get involved with any of those chemicals in their raw form. I will stick to my frequent water changes. It was great to see everyone that made it. I look forward to making it to Carbon Hill next month to see the school tank.

Saw the Killer Corals and that they were, picked up a beautiful stylopora.

It was very nice to attend the meeting today, I enjoyed the speaker and the company, its always good to be around passionate reefers.

Props to Darryl and Tropical Pet Cove for hosting. Awesome store with good healthy livestock

Very good meeting today, I enjoyed visiting with everyone. Looking forward to the next meeting. Thanks Philip for sharing a small portion of your knowledge with us. Thanks Daryl for the hopitality and you have a very nice shop with really good prices. Till next month happy reefing.

Had a great time on a BEAUTIFUL DAY. Thanks to Darryl for the food and Philip for the cooking. Looking forward to seeing the School Tank again and encourage all to attend.

Sorry I missed this one guys, I let my other hobby get in the way shame on me. I will catch you guys at the next one. I am going to the school Monday or Tuesday, hopefully to install the new skimmer, the gate valve mod is supposed to be in and that should allow us to turn the flow back into the center of the existing sump (I hope). Also I have to finish setting up the RO/DI, reports are that its looking better but I haven't seen it. I am guessing the plan will be to do another cleaning and water change at the meeting? If so she will need to order more salt and another heater, and powerhead for mixing.
On a different note I think today I may have realized one of my issues in the recent algae bloom. I haven't paid attention to the temp (Putting head down) when I looked today 84.7 (o) (o) <-- that was my eyes. Upon further investigation it seems that my clip on fans had burned out and I have no idea when. I would imagine the heat has turned the algae sexual. I will let you know if my theory is correct when I cool the tank down for a couple of weeks.
Sounds like the meeting went well, again sorry I missed.

Hey Dobbs,
Let me know real soon if you want that 55 gallon for a sump at the school. I will keep it as long as you need me to if we can use the tank.
If not I am going to trade it for a zoo frag from Krafty.
